It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Treasurer and friend, Stuart Kelly.
Despite putting up a fight, Stuart lost his battle on 11th Jan 2021. He was at home with his family.
Stuart was a long serving member of the committee and was dedicated and committed to supporting pharmacists and patients in our area. Over the years he significantly contributed to shaping pharmacy in Derbyshire and was always there to support his colleagues on the committee. In his role as our Treasurer, he was knowledgeable, and meticulous with the accounts and it has been a privilege working alongside him on the audit committee and as LPC Chair.
He was a kind, caring, family-man, with a dry sense of humour and he was certainly ‘one-of-a-kind’ which added to his charm. He was a good friend to many of us too, and I know that I speak on behalf of all the committee members when I say that he will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts are with his wife and daughters at this sad time.
