National Medicines Safety Programme April 2019 – survey closes 13th January

NHS Improvement are working up to a formal launch of the National Medicines Safety Programme in April 2019. The programme currently has two pieces of work underway to help shape future work.

 i) The Programme is currently seeking the views of the widest range of stakeholders to support the setting of its priorities. We have a survey open which is available via https://engage.improvement.nhs.uk/medical-directorate-2013-business-and-operations/medicines-safety-priority-setting/. We think it takes around 20 minutes to complete and the survey closes 13^th January 2019.

2019. ii) As part of the Programme we are seeking to provide a central repository of best medicines safety practice, to support patient facing clinicians in finding examples of how to solve medicines safety issues in their practice. We are currently asking for contributions to the repository. The repository is available via https://www.sps.nhs.uk/home/services/.
