Become a safe place for vulnerable people in Derbyshire

A Safe Place is somewhere people can go if they feel scared, are lost or need help when they are out and about.

Safe Places are public buildings in towns and communities across Derbyshire, such as libraries, shops, pharmacies and GP surgeries. They have stickers in their windows so people can see that they are part of the scheme and know they can go in and ask for help if needed.

The LPC have been working with the Adult Care Services and would like to encourage all Community Pharmacies to sign up to become a ‘Safe Place’ .  You can do this very simply by clicking this link and completing the form.  Please note that there is no need for Police checks for Community Pharmacists.  If you would like to find more about the scheme please click here.
